The Good: the nose
The not good: slightly fizzy texture (low sulfur) and an extra and very green palate.

Not a bad nose, attractive spice, Pinot red fruits, olive and savory meaty notes (no, this is not a Syrah). On the palate though, the greenness of the stems is readily apparent. I love whole cluster wines. Most Beaujolais Crus, Jamet, Allemand, DRC, Dujac, etc. However the palate of this falls very short as the green notes overwhelm everything else and sap most pleasure out of the wine. Lots of potential but misses the intended mark to me to be one of the world's great whole cluster wines/domaines.

Extraordinary wine with a gorgeous aroma that is at once New World and Old. In a flight with Burgundy Grand Cru it was in its element, and dominated. Laser focused aromas of orange peel, violet, forest floor, wild raspberry and just a hint of barnyard. Firm but well managed acidity, lovely tannins and a long finish. Terrific wine and a great value

Soooo expressive. Aromas are like laser beams for the ol' snooter. Dried flowers, orange peel, herb. 👅 strawberry, herb, blood orange, smoke. The hits keep on coming for Raj! @June's All Day, Austin TX

Absolutely Delicious! May very well be the best Pinot from SRH I have enjoyed over the past 16 years. Stunning how this wine evolved from open to hour 3-3.5. Fragrant and perfumed, fruits and acid in exact balance. Truly wow wine.
