Proof Burgundian styled Pinots are possible to attain in CA. Haunting pomegranate, round cherries, and a pop of dark raspberries. Rustic, woody spices akin to those of Pommard; and a fascinating note that I can only describe as a garden after a summer rain.

Very nice, a bit salty/stem packed inside a ripe cassis.

Next level Sta Rita Hill Pinot- balanced and brilliant and the fruit literally sings to you in the glass. I'm smitten.

Large and in charge. Powerful fruit, but evens out as it opens. Not my thing right now, but I can't wait to try these wines in 5-8 years. Still good after 4 days in the fridge.

Brooding and very fruity. Nice texture and fruit. Was expecting more energy and freshness. Better on day 2. Lighter on its feet and a more definition. Showing more its acid.
