Very shut down and simple nose of strawberry, cherry, tobacco leaf, and resin. The palate has high acid, fairly harsh astringency, flavors of stemmy leafiness, eucalyptus, and cranberry. Not much going on and tastes very underripe. Not a good example of Bojo.

Everything I am looking for in Beaujolais cru

Clear distinction from the other crus, particularly the feminine qualities of Fleurie. Still the juicy the qualities of a Beaujolais, but a touch more earthiness or chalkiness. The acidity on this one was a bit austere. If you like fresh strawberries, you'd like this.

Decent wine, low undertones. Shut down, not bold or acidic but drinkable
