2008 - excellent wine with great body, tannin, and opens up nicely.

2014. Didn't even know they made a Chiroubles. Old school deliciousness. Firm, lean, dry, and angular.

Got an 2008 (current vintage is 2014). The wine was decanted, because of both age and sediment. Beautifully understated aromas of it's sand & granite terroir, red currants, and light sandalwood. Flavors of baking spice, toasted moss, and black currants. The tannins are bigger than a usual Gamay. Good long finish. I'm impressed!

#Blind6 practice, turned out to be a great red for such a hot & muggy day. Bright red, tart fruits with next to no tannin and a long finish. Now it's time to chill slightly and enjoy. 🍷
