Love me some Loire. Love me some Cab Franc. This hits all the regional and varietal notes at a great price point (and w/ a bit of bottle age).

Juicy

2011. Started with a beautiful floral note out of the gate but eventually went down the road of green pepper and band aids. I'd say my score dropped 2-3 points by the end of the bottle

Floral, bonedry, and lasting.

Pretty solid. Good structure with still strong fruit flavors. A little bit of aging on the back end with hints of leather and forrest floor. Drink now, won't last much longer

A lot of dirt and earth along a green pepper on nose. Long tannic finish

nice tannins. good ruby color. cherries. strawberries. leather and leaves. not too heavy. from shawn’s. @David D said skip it. i’d buy it again.

A very nice example: sturdy more rugged than I expected, structured, big time dusty cherry, herbaceous & medicinal with some pepper & leather. Great complexity & depth, decently balanced finish with just enough acidity to hold back the tannins from closing in too much
