Melon De Bourgogne grown just south of Chablis in Vézelay not Muscadet. Nose of stones and green strawberries. Crisp and juicy.

My wine dealer informs me that this was some lesser grape of Burgundy, now being highlighted. Quite good. Lighter than Chardonnay, less citrus than Aligote. Had it w Salade Nicoise but would go w a wide variety of foods.
