On first opening and tasting is was closed and unresponsive, but after a few hours of aeration is blossomed into a very enjoyable drop. Solid tanins, concentrated ripe red fruits, moderate acidity and still fairly youthful- next time I will decant!

Unexpected find! It's full-bodied, spicy and velvety at the same time. From beginning to end it delivers! It's a velvety slap in the face!
