I said in my last note in December 2020 have the last one in about 12 months. A cherry perfumed nose together with Sous Bois - a pleasant nose. A light to medium weight sweetish palate of no great complexity. A little disappointing for a 2009 Les Suchots. Not up to it for a $240 wine.

Quite beautiful. Light. Very feminine. Soft. A bit young but really pleasant. Not overly fruity. Nicely integrated.

Dark Ruby. A cherry earthy perfumed nose. A light to medium weight palate of no great complexity or intrigue. Nothing happening much for a Premier Cru from Vosne Romanee and Les Suchots at that. Similar to the tasting notes I have posted twice for the 2010 vintage of this wine. I will have the last bottle in around 12 months.

Same disappointing notes as I experienced in April 2020 earlier this year. Red cherry with sappy Sous Bois notes. Barely medium weight. A bit simple for a reputable Premier Cru from Vosne Romanee and a good vintage. An example of the lottery that Burgundy can be. My last bottle.

Sappy and savoury with red cherry. Good underlying strength and persistence but on the mid palate light to medium weight. A strange off note that I cannot identify - sort of oxidative. A good wine but doesn’t live up to its site or the vintage.

Young, of course, but very good. Smoke, blue flowers, red fruits, crème de cassis on a glossy palate, impressive drive & definition.
