Part 1 of the final and main event for the Fall WNH. The most spectacular lineup of wines I’ve ever seen, and an overall wonderful ending to an amazing trip with fantastic people.
Very much a softness to this wine. Seems to be in a perfect spot. Not overly sharp, but refined. The bright tropical fruits are honeyed and secondary notes of wet rock, and sea salt. Gorgeous. Bravo @Shawn R .

Best sushi wine I've had. This is rich and evolved, without as much cut as usual, but way better than most managed in 06. Lots of secondary development.
