Really nice funk and barnyard nose. Lots of cherry and some raspberries on the palate. Good acidly though the finish a touch short.

Sedoso y elegante.

Possible the score is higher because of the context - at an excellent bistro with duck, chanterelles, and cassoulet in Paris - but this is a nice wine. Incredibly aromatic, with red berries dominating. Good earth and a bit of tannin on the palate. Resolved with excellent precise acid and a smooth long finish.
