The description:
A deep ruby-red hue with deep-purple highlights. A distinct touch of blackcurrant fills a rich and explosive nose. A soft palate showing sweetness. A touch of moka, chocolate, adds to the complexity. Well structured tannins enhance the body. Very well-balanced. For drinking now or can hold for 2 to 6.

I would add there is a liquorice note. This is a big wine and needs a big flavoured food dish with it.

Barnyards at first but that blew off to some nice pure deep fruit , Smokey and mesquite notes over cassis flavors. Alive and intense but not too much so. Very good value
