Yellow colouring, soft butter ripeness on the nose. Palette is alcoholic(/dry?), rich, pear with some oak.

Nose is somewhat mineral, but getting some fruit. Very acidic at first, but levels off and you can taste white fruit and peaches. Long finish.

Ten year old Macon? Still drinkable? Yes! Surprisingly fresh and lively. Color has gone to honey and there is a honeyed theme on the palate, enjoyable secondary notes have developed. Pleasant surprise, expected this to be well past it's use by.
