Dark fruit. Plum and garrigue with black cherry. A whiff of menthol and a long pure finish still pretty clenched and austere. There’s huge quality here but it’s tight

Soft and delicate, a little quiet in the mid palate but finishes with violet and mushroom notes.

Red cherry and a little spice and herbs.

Fab , smooth wine..

Magnum of the 2000. Amazing. Plenty of heft and power as it opened but still supple and graceful enough to show its Grand Cru roots.

The most open if he first three wines. If I would choose one to drink now, this would be it.
