Fresh and young. Bright plummy fruit, lovely dark undertow of soft cherry fruit. Then very pretty and rounded out. Delicious. Quite young- a wonderfully long finish

Held such promise, but showed a soy sauce aspect, so probably not the best storage conditions of this one, had quite a bit of tannin on the finish though.

This -996 Vogue balanced but with the acidity structure intact, with dried fruit, bramble is a very well made wine but perhaps lacking the complexity that would make it a truly great wine. One hour in bottle using the Audoze method of airing, would recommend 90-120 minutes

1996 Domaine Comte Georges de Vogues Chombolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes Burgundy. Drank at Toscana w DS, J, and K. Classic "Burgundian style," as DS put it. Really liked this wine though it flattened out after 2-3 hours.
