Medium ruby , with ruby pink rim . Quite ripe blue fruits , dark cherry , smoky cassis , round and generous . Quite rich and round in the mouth, alcohol is a bit evident. Strawberry jam , raspberry , dark cherry , touch toasty. Rounded velvety tannins , ok acidity . Ok length . Enjoyable now but will age well over the next 15 years or so

My first time with this maker. Really nice St Emy, despite the high temps outside. Silky smooth, lively fruit, medium tannin. Drink it now or in 10 years, it's going to be yummy either way.

From magnum. Medium deep ruby , thin ruby rim . Deep summer fruits , red plum , cassis , cocoa , blackberry , deep earthy , touch smoky on the nose . After a while sweet cherry , raspberry jam . On the palate this is quite elegant and red fruited , quite good acidity , red currant , cherry , raspberry , some blackberry . Balanced acidity quite juicy tannins , good length , surprisingly fresh and balanced . Good red fruited , earthy length . A better showing here than last year I felt, better balance and fresher fruit . Showing surprisingly well now , though still young , better in 5 years , and will continue well for a further 10 -15 or so .

Bold, dry, notable but not overpowering tannins. Pencil lead on nose, plums and cherries on palate. Probably would benefit from laying down 3-5 more years.
