Honeyed-but-simple, as I try and try it again- it’s lovely, lovely wine. But it’s just not on the level of other Grand Cru Chablis that I’ve been lucky enough to have a go at.

Green apple and lemon peel on the nose. It’s dry, crisp and mineral but it also has a hint of butterscotch and oak making it a bit richer than many Chablis I’ve tried.

Tremendously well-balanced. Equally subtle measures of mineral, cream, light acidity, citrus, light orange peel, and a touch of melon.
