Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux
Nuits St. Georges Pinot Noir
Blind I could spot this by the colour. Ruby red and a nose of decaying leaves is a dead give away. I was shocked at the firm tannins from this Pinot. Barnyard, fur,, truffle, and hints of licorice make this a memorable wine. With a 45 second finish this is a qpr at the village level.

Jul 21st, 2017First foray into Bourgogne. I'm sure this is an elegant wine. Given the price I expected big things. I found it to be easy to drink but nothing special for my palate. Very subtle. Probably a great wine for someone who shies away from big, bold reds.
