Domaine Charvin
Voisin Vin de Pays de la Principauté d'Orange Red Rhone Blend
Meh. Grenache Merlot blend. Plum, tart, slightly herbaceous. This wine NEEDS food, it’s not a stand alone wine. Would be great w cheese or any med body dish. I’m picturing the roasted chicken I wish I had.

Oct 27th, 2019Meaty hibiscus, wet worn leather, crisp warm herbal smell, taste is cherries strawberries thyme and tarragon, good tannic base that is not too strong and allows for a delicate sweetness to balance against the acid at the end, rough and villagey but satisfying and balanced nevertheless

Jul 6th, 2018A beautiful blend of grenache and merlot. Smooth tannins, with lots of plum, black cherry, and berries in the background . Supple and elegant. A winner. Pair with roasted chicken or lighter red meats.
