Domaine Charles Audoin
Cuvée Marie Ragonneau Marsannay Pinot Noir
Six 2005 reds from around the world to warm us up for our main flight. This Marsannay lacked character.

Aug 17th, 2023Medium dark rubi color, notes of flowers, black fruits, wild cherries and spices, perhaps some from new oak. Its complex, balanced and well done, in a modern style but no excess here. Hard to beat this quality at the price point.

Jul 5th, 2022Medium dark rubi robe, nose of flowers and spices with a hint of wild cherries. Medium bodied with supple tannins but strong spine buried under this great acidity and balance. Feels like modern winemaking but has no excess and is impeccable wine that drinks great now but should benefit of 3 to 5 years in the cellar. Will gain complexity. We loved it.
