2019 is NOT a recommended vintage for this wine. Lands flat, unremarkable finish, some Grenache leather and spice. Not a pleaser. Cheers! They can’t all be killers!

This is a very enjoyable CDP. Showing black fruits with chocolates, earth, wood, vanilla, vegetables, dark coffee, herbs, spices, peppercorn, leather, vinaigrette and tobacco leaf.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate and very yummy. At this point it is showing great complexity and mouthfeel.

Good by itself or with food. Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows some tannins.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a from a great vintage, Drinking, very nicely now, and will age nicely in the next 10 years.

Robert Parker 94 points.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

A blend of 65% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre and 5% Cinsault. Aged in stainless steel vats (70%) and new oak barrels (30%).

15% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$50.

Dusty red fruit and burned earth. Totally rustic and perfect for a charcuterie plate and duck breast entree.

There is more acid than you'd expect but a wonderful finish that doesn't overstay it's welcome.

Everything I liked in the Sablet Blanc but with a lighter styled body. Deemed crushable by my tasting group...that is if you have the weekly budget to crush white Chateauneuf. If you do then I wanna hang with you sometime.

Come a long way in 2 years. Crushed rock and spicy mid palate. Tannins are still prominent but in a pleasing , grippy way. It gives the wine some testicular backbone. Gorgeous with time to go in the cellar

Still tight on the nose and lean on the palette. With generous decanting there is meaty fruit, steeped in garrigue.

Big but perfect for a 4-hour wine braised pot roast. Super ripe but pure cherry and dark berry fruit, along with a bit of crushed stone. Massive but more savory in the mouth than the nose implies, with low-ish acids and a fair amount of soft tannin. It’s not old school, but it’s good with this meal.

I cannot contain my love for this wine in the 2007 vintage. Smoked herbs, meat and fire, wet rock, pulsing acidity, and smacking spice. Flavor profile is changing by the second. An astounding value.

Beautiful wine, but needs time. Wet rock, huge spice but somehow subtle and exerting serious finesse. Would love to see in 5 years.
