A little too hot on the palate for me but otherwise a solid CdP blanc. Floral and tropical fruits with some phenolic bitterness and a light roundness in my mouth. Drink now with, and hear me out, sashimi... or chicken with a lemon caper buerre blanc.

Fermented in New Oak for 6 weeks and Aged in stainless steel. No malo.
21% Grenache Blanc, 21% Roussanne, 21% Bourbelenc, 21% Clairette,
16% Picpoul. Deep straw, high viscosity. Ripe to overripe stone and orchard fruits, Meyer lemon, prominent vegetal notes such as radish and watercress. On the palate the texture is round and smooth, with sweet baking spices indicating new oak. Lees characters like sour dough. Medium acidity, high alcohol, some phenolic bitterness.

Really complex nose that cycles through all manner of fruit: pear, mango (says my daughter Emma), orange oil, peach, banana. Even a whiff of mint leaves. Deep stony minerality underlying it all. Rich, warm and pure in the mouth. No great length or complexity on the palate, but loads of character and fun.

Definitely the lighter side of CDP but it drinks nicely early. Great entry CDP
