First time trying a 100% pinot meunier and it has completely baffled and intrigued my group. Super underripe strawberries on the nose along with ridiculously tart cherries and pomegranate and greenness without being vegetal. There's a bright and juicy acidity throughout the palate that reminds me of gamay from Beaujolais but it is lacking in body. I like it, but I'm not sure I'll search it out after this.

Blind tasting. Thought it was Pinot Noir from California, not far off. Nice wine too

If you like Pinot Noir, this is like one in a velvety, rounder style. Lush, ripe and seductive with elegant, layers that keep getting better as it opens up. You can't drink it fast. It needs to be savored.

Not as unique as I hoped. Fine, not excessive fruit.
