Aromatic and oozing with pomegranate and cranberry fruit. Not earth shatteringly complex but downright delicious and juicy.

Kind of an interesting burnt caramel note. Cooked tart berries, and good long acidity, decent concentration and also pretty lightness to the extraction. Nice licorice on the midpalate and finish. But the fruit in this lacks a bit of freshness as I’ve found with a lot of 2017 bojo. And the value isn’t there.

As suspected, starting to get a hint microbial on day 2.

Awesome, slightly tangy nose. Rich, plummy and beautifully balanced fruit. Has the stuffing to improve. Seek this out.

OG Bojo. Fewer and fewer make great Gamay this way with carbonic and little to no added sulfur. Drink up!

Still crushing it, this wine presents now with dark black cherry, lavender, a slight vinyl/inflatable pool toy note Gamay tends to give me, and plenty of herbal/piney deliciousness on the palate. Sappy but cut by a well integrated minerality.

An absolutely stunning expression of gamay, rich and dark for the style, a stunning deep garnet that leaps out of the glass offering red licorice, fresh and stewed red cherries, with just enough hints of a green, herbal character and a backbone of granite to keep me coming back for another sip again and again. A real beauty.

La madone delights. Light on its feet but with a from structure, delicious with cod stewed in farm fresh tomatoes, chili oil, and frizzled shallots and garlic. Slammin
