Served blind, I had it as seriously high quality Vosne, like that of CLB. Its perfect prep of a decant for 3 hours and then back into the bottle for 1 hour before serving bypassed the Domaine’s typical smoky reduction and allowed its fruit purity and floral bouquet to take center stage. At this point, it wafts from the glass flaunting a red fruited and fresh violet profile with Vosne-like spices and an elegant, lifted and palate caressing texture. It continued to beautify and expand itself over the course of the night, never shutting down, and showing just how special Madame Tremblay’s wines can be. Chambolle with Vosne flair 👌🏻👌🏻

Elegant and expressive with a beautiful bouquet. It shows lovely purity and finesse. Black raspberries, red flowers, a touch of reduction, exotic spices and roasted herbs. It shows no “green” of the vintage and the subtle herbal quality is seamlessly integrated and only adds to complexity. It’s not at all thin, and it has great intensity, yet simultaneously it’s weightless and it just floats on the palate. Finishes long with vibrance and lift. Beautiful wines from Madame Tremblay.

Nez végétal, poivron vert, un nez un peu bizarre sans être trop déviant. Une bouche plus puissante mais pas accomplie, sans finesse et avec une longueur fort moyenne. Déception. 86-87
Nose has some green peppers and is a bit odd. The palate is powerful without finesse and without any balance, average length. Big disappointment.
