Here we go, 20 year old sparkler. This is a first. Smells like bread & apricots. Maybe a hint of apples and horses. Flavors are very well preserved. Yeasty streak with plenty of creamy citrus (lemon curd, lemon meringue pie, or orange creamsicle). Plenty of tannin and crispness too. This has aged just fine. 20 years might be the happy place for this wine. It also made a ambrosial mixer with a homemade apricot-Rosé-sorbet in a ‘wine float’.
