Bought at wine direct.co.uk for £37.45. Drunk 24/10/15.
Lovely smell and a nice liquorice taste. A good Gevrey but not great, not quite as much flavour as at the Withies, Surrey.

2000 was a bit thin but Pinot after all and 15 years young. Burgundy sets the standard worldwide for fine wine.

Coffee spice and violets , spring flowers lead to a quite acidic, slight bitter dark choc palate .
