Aromas of coffee and red fruits with moderate, but easy tannins could have been good… except 15%!?

On the nose, this is red cherry and strawberry... On the palate, this gets more plummy with some red current brightness... Interestingly for a Pinot, there is distinct tannin in play here as well as a medium, warming finish. Not my first choice of favorite style of Pinot, but it has the acidity to pair with food that I think saves this one.

Very Dry and empty tasting. Strong aftertaste of cheese and would complement cheese and crackers, but I didn’t have any! No where near as good as the equivalent Malbec

Uca Valley Pinot Noir. Very light colour. Good pairing with seafood or pasta. Smells like a sweat sock. Very light and oaky. Coffee aftertaste. Cheap price point. Very mellow. Very very mellow. Great pairing with chocolate. Mmmm chocolate.
