Typically not a Malbec fan but this one was solid and paired well up against grilled red meat. Had robust but not puckering tannin, pepper, and some complexity. Friends brought over for dinner

Once it opens up pretty solid for the price. Big ripe fruit. Went well with grill ribeye and asparagus.

Inky purple in color. On the nose its organic, black cherry, flint, cabbage and high alcohol. Very hot on the palate with plum, cassis, blackberries, and baking spice. Easy but not too easy drinking malbec.

100% Malbec from Agentina. Organic. A medium bodied wine, medium structure, medium intensity. fresh, transparent aging which highlights the fruit (black and stonefruits). no oak. Nice introduction to Malbec and Domaine Bousquet.
