Big bold and ripped with tannin grip and forest fun

Massive! Bloody, iron and tons of tannins. Dried blackberries. Needs steak or casseroles

Tannat! Old world wine done new world style. Loved it.

Mid summer refreshment? Perhaps not, but comfort is so goddamn boring. Plus drinking Tannat initiates the search for other palindrome varieties.

Big and flaccid.

I'm really digging this wine. It's big and powerful, but distinctly French.

Seemed to have gotten better and mellowed out the big broad tannic notes. Still firm in texture and have a tannic bite but balanced by ripened hard fruit prune notes

Opened for mom on MM Ben dinner. Inky dark color with earthy nose and weight palate. Would be good with heavier winter meals.
