Domaine Bernard Gripa
Les Pins St. Péray Blanc Marsanne Roussanne
21 is a brilliant vintage for N. Rhone whites. The entry level St. Peray from Gripa is something else in this vintage. Nose has yellow fruits, melon, gras, lime zest and loads of granitic intensity. Palate is juicy and luscious with great cut, minerality and freshness. All coated with glorious minerality. Gorgeous.

Jun 1st, 2023I love Northern Rhone Whites and defending them will be the hill I die on. Outrageous nose. Spice, musk (old spice??), plantain, rich apricot, honey, wild berries, white cherries, so exotic. Great nose. Palate is round and ripe with great precision and freshness from the brilliant minerality. Complex and juicy. Very pure. Finishes mineral and very fresh. Nose makes you think it might be a gobber but palate is lean and mean. Love this.

Oct 16th, 2018I just fucking love this stuff. Pretty. Balanced lush mouthfeel with a racy underpinning.

Deep and lush with nice acidity and that unique Marsanne minerality. Nose of spice pie and exotic Marsanne minerality and hint of tropical fruits. Juicy and lithe with nice texture and good structure. Much more serious than it needs to be. Long. Mineral. Will age for 10-12 years.

Feb 26th, 2015Beautiful wine, especially for the price. Has the weight and power expected from a top AOP in the Rhone. The wine is balanced with beautiful acid. Very nice !
