Has more of an elegant feel than a Raffault, which always seem to have more power but also always in transition( since i cant afford library releases). Still tho, some barnyard on nose, lets say Conn. Farmer version, rather sleek polished fruit. Chinon version of tannins=low. An honest, enjoyable bottle

2009. Brilliant. Heady, earthy, & elegant with so much sexy funk. Cab Franc on point.

Barnyard nose and herbaceous palate, liquorice, oregano, thyme, medium bodied with light playfulness in with a subtle balance of acidity and structure.

The best cru of the 2011’s. Typical and pure Cab Franc and not as much green as the others.

Such wonderful funk and earth. Never been major on back-end of a horse or barnyard notes but this won me over!

Red fruit, cola, a fresh earthiness and almost no greenness. Bright acidity reminiscent of Gamay. Really well made cab franc.
