Mid gold, lemon and cashmere wool, dry, good acidity, this is an unctuous, luscious, generous wine with mellow depth, and fruitfulness, completed by a long, spicy finish.
A classic!

Must be an off day, very lean and tight.

From the limestone slopes of Chinon. Best example of white wine from this appellation that I've tasted. As good as any high quality Savennières, just different. Seems to be entering it's prime. Loving this!

Jaune clair
Nez de cire d épices de melon et d herbe fraîche
Bouche ample mais sans etre molle
Beaucoup de relief et de la densité en fin de bouche encrée dans la craie
Jolie 2009 sans sucre

More focused than 2011, great Tanin fruit balance

The Wooden Cross. A fine, still evolving wine that treads the line of blue and black fruits seamlessly. Tannins still well in force. I could see this going another 7-10 yrs.
