2003, from ungrafted vines. Despite that, not entirely immune from effects of the warm vintage--showing richer and riper than typical Chinon. Not very bretty but could have been more delineated. Still very nice with all the right savory, autumnal wild berry/red currant and peppercorn flavors.

This was so good! Unusual as it's from pre-phylloxera vines. It was worth bringing it back from the Loire.
