Bramble fruit, cranberry, mushroom/herb/forest floor. Some cocoa. Balanced acid and a lingering finish.

Quite good but for a few dollars more you can get one of their single vineyard bottles

Night one: fruitier than average, not particularly high acid, maybe blockish. Night two: sea change. Class and concentration above its class. Gorgeous black fruit, broad tannins, and earthy aromas/flavors speak of the Côte de Nuîts.

Nothing to complain about to be sure, but I'd rather pay 6-10 dollars more for one of the QPR-sweetheart Marsannays from Bart.

This bright, fun AC Bourgogne was very good with a steak and ratatouille sandwich. Even after many years in the wine business, tasting a bottled wine after having had it in barrel is still a thrill. These 14's are a good clean bunch!

QPR! Recommended with pulled pork from Fat Pete's without sauce.

Seemed thin after the previous wine but this is not without character. Interesting earthy mushroom notes. Good persistence.

I need to try more domaine Bart. I think this was under 20 dollars.

Still holding on and drinkable after 12 years but clearly on the decline.
