Opened this yesterday but forgot to post it. Day 2 has some background earthiness but not a ton and a lot of cherry fruit. Really nice bottle

A glass of this very fine Pivot noir in Le Gare Restaurant Prague, asked them for a recommendation to go with tarte flambé, bacon and onions.... awesome every all ticked....

Good but not great. Maybe one to put away for several more years. Even with a good 2+ decant, there is some sweet oak that overrides. Don’t get a ton of fruit or crispness or earth as a result. With food better for sure, and you get some hints that this could be a beautiful seamless wine. But not there right now.
