2015 Vintage - a nice Bourgogne apple /hazel-nut , leesy , medium bodied med+ acidity

Oak, acidic, citrus, bitterness, a bit sweet.

Had a little smoky edge initially which disappeared to leave something round and rich and delish.

Had to get multiple refills!!

Big, fat and oaky... but still very fresh and acidic, refined and linear ... great simple wine that drinks like a big meursault ... oh and this has a great nose of toasted nuts ...

This is the 3rd time I’ve had it in the past 4 months - constantly changing. Still explosive on the nose, with huge marzipan, luscious floral elements, and mushroomy spicy fruit. The palate has calmed down a bit - I remember the oak being far more present some months ago. Always will be massive but getting increasingly pretty and mineral. Will continue to well for years and years to come.
