Domaine Andrè Colonge et Fils
Brouilly Gamay
Brouilly, Beaujolais, Burgundy, France

This is a boisterous Bojo. Nose is lovely with lots of crushed stones and ripe dark cherry. Lots of flavor up front, but in a slightly sharp-elbowed frame. Ends a little on the drying side, with a noticeable but still pleasant bitterish note.

Nose of alcohol and peat. Reminds me of a dram of Islay single malt. Weird. ( no, I didn’t use a glass I had some Laphroaig in). Mouth more typical. Cherry, roses, some fairly light tannins.
