If I had this blind I would have thought it was a traditionally made (i.e., pre-Parkerized, pre-Cambie recipe-made) Chateauneuf, about 6 or 7 years old. Rich, minerally and garrigue -like nose. Fruit tending toward blackberry. Loads of fruit, though not jammy at all, with loads of dissolved minerals. Great purity. Not that much tannin, but it may improve over the next few years.

Dusty earth. Dried cherry, strawberry, red apple skin aromas and flavors with notes of dried herbs and tomato leaf. Tart, fruity acids on the finish. Great on its own with a slight chill for summer, or with cured meats and semi-hard cheeses.
