Alsace AOC Riesling

Pretty Riesling. Fairly austere style, showing rippling streak of acidity. Green apple, lemongrass, petrol and firm minerality. Classic food wine.

Bone dry Reisling, I don't understand anything anymore. It's really fun though, bright and fruity. Green apple!

Green Apple, peach and wet stone. M+ acid, M body and intensity. Lemon and minerality on the palate. The finish is short.

Give this a second to breathe. You can tell its Alsace right away. Loads of gun flint, lit match and wet stone. Almost nearly devoid of fruit on the nose and palate, but a bit of lime comes through on the finish. Not as tight or austere as I would expect for a '14, but wish there was a bit more fruit. Very dry and M+ acid. Food is recommended.

Fruity with bright acidity. Reasonable for the price.

Nice mineral driven riesling. Zippy, light, some fruity floral notes.

Allimant-Laugner punches so far above its weight. Guwertz, Riesling, Pinot Gris, all good sub $30.
