Blind Rhône’s from Saturday night. This was my WOTN. A bold grainy tannin’d beauty. Deep garnet with some bricking and bursting with dark fruit, wild game, leather and iron. This was far and away the standout for me in a superb grouping of 8 wines, 6 of which were exemplary examples of their region. Alas, it ranked as wine #2 in the first group of 4. 🤷🏻‍♂️
