Medium Ruby. Vanilla aromas with some herbaceous notes. Medium Intensity with cedary herbal flavours lacking in mid palate fruit. Only medium length and persistence. Sandy fine tannins with a Slightly bitter finish. This is Domaine A's 2nd ranked cuvée meant for consumption on release or short term cellaring. Tasted another bottle 72 weeks later on September 2018. Dusty black currant notes with cedar. Medium weight - won’t get better. Some Capsicum notes on palate finishes with those sandy Tannins again. 88 points.

The 2nd wine of Domain A. Been anticipating to try this langton classification and it turned out good. It has that high quality wine nose and palate. Good mineral and balance. Quite enjoyable

Full bodied, dark fruits, olive, dried herbs and a kind of tomato juice sort of thing going on. Yum.

Loving it, its so reminiscent of the mayer whole bunch cab in the way that its so juice driven, still does have that tannin but its got some seriously juicy acidity, im finding a lot of similarities in the elegance and subtlely overtly vibrant fruit to the wines of bordeaux, still got that blackberry and chasis, cedar then probably more blueberry, rasp and im finding some clove in there underlying

Wow. Tasmania isn't known for its Cabernets, but this is sublime. And to think it's Domaine A's second-tier wine ...
