Richebourg Grand Cru Pinot Noir

Very dilute and weak mid palate. Could use more depth.

Bright tawny color. Looks great in the stem. Luscious nose. Bursting with fruit. Notes of tart bing cherry, sois bois, Asian spice, some rhubarb and an earthy menthol. Expansive in the mouth. Great balance of fruit and structure. Still young. In the zone. This is an answer to the question, “when is a great aged red burg better than anything else”

Soft resolved wood. Beautiful cherry and dark bramble fruit. Regal and rich with lovely balance.

Dark, brooding, blue fruit. Intense and still fresh. Beautiful depth and savory poised fruit. Exceptional quality, long and still young.

Tawny rims with reddish purple center. Deep and dark. Wild nose. Notes of Asian spice, violets, menthol, black cherry and earth. Aromatics are matched against rich fruit. With a few hours of air the body is intense and the finish is long. Great wine. .

Younger color, reddish and tawny. Exotic nose. Notes of ripe fruit, rhubarb, Asian spice, brush, dark soul and some menthol. Perfect balance in the mouth. Long finish. Killer juice.

Initially a bit austere but after two hours of decanting, really classic: dust, incense and deep red fruits.

This is deep and intense. A gorgeous, velvety deep nose. Intense dark fruit. This is wonderfully lush and plush. Still youthful with almost citrus on the edges. True richebourg. Great.

Pure, elegant with lots of spices. My favorite Anne Gros Richebourg vintage (tasted at The Fine Wine Experience Burghound Richebourg dinner)

Really nice. Starting to come into it's own. No rush to drink though. Nice fruit and herbs.
