Quite forward and showing better in it's youth than anticipated. Ample structure for longevity but not quite the depth I had hoped.

Such an excellent expression of V-R, always so approachable when young, but with a couple of years on it it really shines.

Jan 28th, 2017Magnum - Classic '98, they have a bitterness to the finish with higher levels of tannin than you really want for PN, it did open up with decanting, needed some richer food also.

Nov 1st, 2016So great to try these Côte à Côte, the Aux Réas is the pick right now though, they are both so expressive, as any great wine should be at any age, really love the high toned aromatics.
