Absolutely smoking. Superb nose of green apple, matchstick, seashells, oyster shells, oyster brine, airy and expansive. So pretty and precise. Palate is crisp, deep and super precise. Amazing purity, clarity and balance. So pure and like drinking a fresh stream of Chablis. Such a wine of place. Lovely freshness and purity. Awesome acids and lime pith fruit. Terrific showing.

Classic Lechet nose. Seashelly soaked apple fruit with gorgeous depth and purity. Lovely saline depth. Rich, chewy and extraordinarily elegant with chewy depth, huge mineral palate impact and a delicious viscous texture. Long, juicy and complex. Young but accessible and structured to last 12-15 years. Really long.

Seashelly nose with loads of minerals and superb clean, classic Chablis aromas. Little flint and some ripe green Apple as well. Palate is ripe and rich with just loads is energy and jaw dropping purity. Sometimes I forget how good Dampt is. Lovely lemon candy finish with incredible balance and top notch finesse. So long and persistent. Juicy mid palate leads to long lingering Kimmeridgian finish. So linear, with insane energy and depth. I love 17 here. Salty, mineral finish that does not quit!

Voluptuous nose with loads of chalky, brothy, seashelly minerality. Very ripe pear skin fruit. In the mouth it’s kind of flat. Not bad, but not what I drink Chablis for. I imagine hot, low acid vintages are going to be the rule, not the exception, in the future.

Amazingly reliable bottle of wine here. Lime zest and pith. Lemon, oyster shells, hint of smoke, always so wafting with oyster shells is Dampt’s Lechet. Classic as can be Chablis. Unmistakable. A piecing piquant quality to the aroma. Palate is all nerves and energy with terrific precision and depth. Deafeningly mineral and long with great juiciness and good fruit supporting the mineral finish. Good weight and heft on the palate shows it’s 1er Cru roots. Tait structure and an energetic bottle of Côte de Lechet.

A difficult vintage here but still Seb knows how to handle a warm vintage and did so again in 15 as he did in 11 and 13. Nose has spice, seashells, lemon, stanky minerals. Not much fruit. I like. Palate is fat, yet precise and elegant with lovely delineation. Clean and a wine to be consumed young.

Gorgeous. Minerals flecked with citrus pith, a streak of green apple, ending with a burst of acidity.

Wow. Awesome lechet. It has that Lechet richness and fruit but enveloped by a mineral bomb. Great acidity. Super balance. Bought from fass selections. ...
Ok getting better. Wow. The bomb.

2015 vintage. Zipping acidity and chalky minerals. Rich fruit flavors opened up after about an hour.
