Nose is all crushed seashells and lime blossom. Some sweet greens as well. Super floral. Wow. Gorgeous. Spice and wood shavings. Palate is unreal. Wow the acidity is insane and this is electric and just singing. What a finish. So intense, sappy and pure. Long and tense. Energy for days

Jul 8th, 2023Classic Lechet nose, Wow that mineral florality is something. Super expressive and pure. Lime blossom and zest. Meyer lemon, yellow and white flowers. Rich and sappy with lovely freshness and energy. Good mineral persistence and a salty lanolin finish. Sappy and pure. Nose is gorgeous and pure. Long. Very long. Elegant and finesse driven and wide open with wonderful structure and density and such length.
Classic Lechet nose, Wow that mineral florality is something. Super expressive and pure. Lime blossom and zest. Meyer lemon, yellow and white flowers. Rich and sappy with lovely freshness and energy. Good mineral persistence and a salty lanolin finish. Sappy and pure. Nose is gorgeous and pure. Long. Very long. Elegant and finesse driven and wide open with wonderful structure and density and such length.
Jul 8th, 2023Haven’t had in ages. Gorgeous nose with some gras, lime zest, seashells, sea air and some of the obvious richness of the vintage. Palate is wonderful. Zippy with terrific acids and great cut. Concentrated and classic. Sappy and pure with great balance, freshness and minerality. Pure as the driven snow. Nice smokiness develops with air.

Feb 1st, 2023Classic Dampt Lechet nose. Seashells. Minerals. Green apple skins. So aromatic. So classic. Just classic. I can’t stop saying classic. Palate is rich but energetic and has nice cut. 19 is kind of almost riper than 18 on this bottling which is weird. Salty finish and tons of mineral depth and lovely acid structure. Ideally better in 5 years. Serious grip and intensity here. Great length, depth, power and concentration. Even some finesse. But this is a beast. A salty beast. Love it

Amazing purity, clarity and balance. So pure and like drinking a fresh stream of Chablis. Such a wine of place. Lovely freshness and purity. Awesome acids and lime pith fruit. Terrific showing.

Rich, chewy and extraordinarily elegant with chewy depth, huge mineral palate impact and a delicious viscous texture. Long, juicy and complex. Young but accessible and structured to last 12-15 years. Really long.

Palate is ripe and rich with just loads is energy and jaw dropping purity. Sometimes I forget how good Dampt is. Lovely lemon candy finish with incredible balance and top notch finesse. So long and persistent. Juicy mid palate leads to long lingering Kimmeridgian finish. So linear, with insane energy and depth. I love 17 here. Salty, mineral finish that does not quit!

Voluptuous nose with loads of chalky, brothy, seashelly minerality. Very ripe pear skin fruit. In the mouth it’s kind of flat. Not bad, but not what I drink Chablis for. I imagine hot, low acid vintages are going to be the rule, not the exception, in the future.
