Brut Champagne Blend

1973 vintage. Excellent.

Fresh but rich.

Out of mag... just delicious

Almost Sauternes golden, Dom Perignon 1973 (regular release, not Oenotheque) displayed burnt honey, truffle, and hazelnut, with a funky Jura-like oxidative edge, which I dig. Still some bubble. Not so much a pleasure potion as it is an elixir of fascination. If you are having any of the Real Housewives over, serve at your own peril.

Best bubbles from the 70s I've had! Still alive.

Alive, complex and unbelievably compelling. One of the best Champagnes I've tasted.
