Utopiste Restons Nature Gewürztraminer

The floral gewürztraminer was balanced nicely by the tangy tannins. An orange that's as friendly with food as it is for cocktailing. Thanks, Lena for introducing me.

Peach, orange blossom, hay, and lemon zest. Slightly sweet and floral at first, but quickly dries out with some natty funk. Bright, acidic finish.

A tad bit on the sweet side though it has a crisp finish. Apricot, tangerine compote. Pairs well with Asian food and spices.

Delicious. Love a skin contact aromatic wine. Although they are all starting to taste the same. I know it’s not cool and pandering to say the technique mask the terroir or varietal but it’s often pretty true. Not mad though

Loved this. Tasted like dank delicious aloe.

Grippy tannins that remind me of a floral earl grey tea. Higher alcohol content. Super floral nose. Neutral oak seems to have added slight oxidation, not a lot of oak, maybe some tannin, and a comfortable oxidation. Food friendly 4 sure.
