Vibrant purple in the glass translucent and light on its feet. Big opulent nose with notes of ripe berries, Asian spice, sandalwood and earth. Balanced in the mouth - lots of ripe fruit but not over the top. Medium finish.

It's young and warm on the palate. 14% but it feels a little hotter on the back of the throat. It looks unfiltered and it's organic. The mouthfeel is thick & broad. The fruits are; very dark cherries, notes of mixed berries, cooked strawberries, a hint of orange peel, strong sense of spice & wood shavings. The earth is dry brown soil with crushed rocks and not too heavy. Acidity could be better. The balance of fruit & earth is good. Finish starts with bright fruits and slides to a dry tannin finish. All in all, pretty decent Marlborough.

This is our “go to” at Arancino’s for date night. We’ve had it a few times this year (2018) and it would still do better if decanted, but we always enjoy it with the mix of seafood and steak we tend to order. It still tastes young but it goes well with seafood. He prefers something with more body to accompany his steak. But we love this little boutique winery in Marlborough and keen to support them.

Super green and stalky. Comes across as unfinished. I hope it's me or the glass because this is not what I expected. Might just need lots of time. Might have spent too long in serving machine. Would love to have commented without scoring.

Forgot I had this about 6 mos ago. Used to remember everything I consumed. I’m slipping. Anyway.....great wine, great value. Slightly different tasting notes. ICherry, rose petal, and tea. Medium-bodied, silky. Memorable finish.

This is impressive. Cherry, tea, mushroom, and rhubarb flavors. Medium-to-full bodied with a lot of structure and complexity; comes off a little hot. A 45-second finish. Buy.
