The oak has integrated since my last tasting 81 weeks ago. Sinewy aromas of beetroot and root vegetables but still manages to be plump on the palate. Great QPR at just under $40. From Marlborough - a little Pinot Noir gem in a sea of Sauvignon Blanc.

Mid crimson. 2012 was a cooler year throughout New Zealand and this is reflected in the medium weight fruit showing here. Lovely cherry flavours with a fair dollop of spicy oak. Fine tannins and acid structure mean a good future where hopefully the oak will be more integrated.

Plum flavor. fresh. Bourgogne like, but a bit more thick. No rough taste. Nice! @6000, maru, 170803

Ruby colour with a very attractive cherry bouquet. Smooth texture with a dark cherry taste that has an expresso lining which gives it a bitterly sour edge. A little unrefined so needs food and a little breathing but I would drink / buy it again given its £20 price point.

Big, generous and smokey. Slightly hot on the finish and not as complex or beguiling as I like in a Pinot. Pinot for the Barossa Shiraz lover.

Had never had this wine before. Picked it up at a Costco.. On a whim😉. So happy I did. We really enjoyed this last night w a couple of steaks. Very refreshing on a hot summer night when you don't want a heavy wine! Might be one of my new favs
