On this the first day of the weekend I have opened the 2015 Disznókő Tokaji Dry Furmint from Hungary.
On the nose this wine is very aromatic with white flowers, grapefruit, green apples, orange rind, lime and new peach.
On the palate there I find citrus notes, lemon, lime, grapefruit, green apples, quince and a nice big minerality.
This wine is smooth creamy medium bodied with zesty high acidity and a fresh long crisp finish. Have a great enjoyable weekend and please be safe. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂

Really liked this wine. Medium body, dry with a touch of sweetness, great pairing with fish of all varieties.

Nice tokaji from Hungary. Very dry, very acidic. A bit one dimensional but certainly nothing close to wrong with it, especially for a good value sipper.

Jun 10th, 2017It's not really dry, I would classify it as off dry. Mineral, feels zesty but mellowed down by RS. Nose honeyed, exotic fruits and fresh lemon peel. Mouth is lemonade driven, light bodied with medium acidity, not really complex but very pleasant sipper on it's own.

Apr 3rd, 2017This wine struggles to be palatable. A fresh nose, but unpleasant palette. Sour unpleasant notes in its finish. Better than some other Furmints, but not good.
