Orange wine that is a 50/50 blend of Rkasitelli and Mtsvane. Aged and fermented in qvevri. Beautiful copper/apricot color. Noticeable aromas of tropical fruits, lavender, cantaloupe and almonds. Pallet is full of mango, apricot, lemon zest and nuts. There is also a salty note on the finish. Light on tannin and very soft texture. Pleasant.

straight ahead amber, great intro to the type. i wouldn’t call it 9-ish, because it pulls back on some of the fantastic curves trad orange wines have. but absolutely nothing to dislike, and is a great wine for people unfamiliar with amber/on-the-stems wine. gateway drug. will repeat. often.

Much more flavorful than the last time we drank. Same vintage, so surprised. Floral nose. Very interesting and yummy.

Fun to try and a cool background, be sure to read the back of the bottle. Tried this with and without food. It was a little oaky and not my favorite without food. After trying it with a hard gouda cheese the subtle flavors came to the surface giving it a smooth finish. Paid $17.

Slightly tart, but relatively subtle. Easy drinking and the price is nice.
